B is for ................... Be .... Just Be!

This post is part of A-Z all about me {weekly blog challange} over at 'Love Kate'!

Lately life is just so busy!  Well, actually when I think about it, it's not just lately ...... it's been that way for a while now.  I always expect to get a weeks worth of {stuff} done in each and every day.  And at the end of each and every day, I am my own worst critic on why I didn't cross every. single. thing. of my to-do-list.

When I think back to only a few years ago, life seemed alot more simple and ALOT less hectic. I miss that!

With the job description of Mum, partner, cleaner, referee, cook, chief office administrator, chauffeur, nurse, guidance counsellor, homework consultant, fundraising coordinator, receptionist, nanny, business owner, interior designer, teachers aide, business analyst and many more ..... there really aren't enough hours in the day.

I seriously think there is something in my personality that thinks it is possible to do it all!!  And to do it all well.

Then when I am busy doing all of these things I am already thinking of the next 3 million things I need to be doing.  My mind never stops racing.

I have thought alot lately about little ways I could change the way I do things and try to be in the moment.

When I sit and watch the kids, they have perfected it.  They aren't thinking about anything else but enjoying that. exact. moment. and soaking up every bit of it.

I could learn alot from them.

I want to take the time to just ..... BE!!  Even if it's just for one day!

  1. It is amazing what we can learn from kids!

  2. Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I can totally relate to your "Just Be" post. I'm always too busy planning ahead and mapping out my time to just enjoy it as it comes. I am constantly trying to learn to just go with the flow...good luck!!

  3. I couldn't agree more! We discuss this regularly :)
Life is so short & precious....and is whizzing by way too quickly for my liking. I'm trying to absorb it all, enjoy it all & document it all. I sooooo wish I could just BE more often :))))
    Great post.
